Sundays and Christmas Services

Whether you come with your family, friends, colleagues or by yourself: at our Christmas services you will share in the true meaning of Christmas! You are very welcome just as you are at any of our worship services. There is no dress code and the minister and welcome team will be happy to explain anything. Hide at the back or join in the chat – it’s up to you!

  • 8th/15th/22nd/29th December: Services at Duncansburgh Church  in Fort William (11:30am), Caol Community Centre (10am), Corpach Church (11:30am)
  • 8th/15th/22nd/29th December: Services in Kilmonivaig Church (9:30am)
  • Christmas Eve: Kilmonivaig Family Christmas Service (7pm). Watchnight at the Duncansburgh Church (11:30pm).
  • Christmas Day: Welcome Christmas Day! Services at Corpach (9:30am) and Duncansburgh Church (11am). 
  • From January 5th: Sunday Services in Duncansburgh Church (10am), Caol Community Centre (10am), Corpach Church (11:30am), Kilmonivaig Church (12pm).
  • January 12th: Messy Church at Duncansburgh Church (2:30pm)

Some groups will take a break over the festive period.

Mondays

  • Men’s Breakfast at Lochaber Cafe (at Fort William Railway Station) 9:30am (first Monday – 2nd December and 6th January)
  • Christianity Explored – January 27th 2:30pm Kilmonivaig Church Hall
  • Craft Group at Corpach Church 2-4pm (except last Monday)
  • Local History Group at Corpach Church 2-4pm (last Monday)
  • Singing in Praise Choir at MacIntosh Hall 7pm 

Tuesdays

  • Craft Group at Duncansburgh MacIntosh Hall Upper Room 6-8pm
  • Kilmallie Book Group at Caol Library 5-6pm (first Tuesday)
  • Duncansburgh Guild at MacIntosh Hall 2pm (second Tuesday – Dec 10th usual meeting. Jan 14th will be a fellowship meal – venue tbc.) 
  • Bible Study at Caol Free Church 2-4pm (first and third Tuesdays – not in December)

Wednesdays

  • Bible Study at Duncansburgh MacIntosh Hall Upper Rm 10:30-11:30am (Advent Study 4th and 11th Dec, then from 8th Jan)
  • Birdwatching Group (meeting in the car park at Inverlochy) 1:30pm (first Wednesday – no meeting in January)
  • Kilmallie Guild at Caol Community Centre 2pm (fourth Wednesday – 11th Dec is Christmas Lunch at Spean Bridge, Jan 22nd – usual meeting)

Thursdays

  • Informal Lunchtime Worship at Duncansburgh Church 12:15-12:45pm (except Boxing Day and 2nd Jan)
  • Worship at Invernevis House 2pm (last Thursday)

Fridays

  • Boys’ Brigade at Duncansburgh Old Hall 6:30pm-8pm. 

Saturdays

  • Soup Saturday at the MacIntosh Hall 11-2pm (first Saturday).
