HOLY WEEK AND EASTER SERVICES AND EVENTS

Celebrate Easter across our locations. All welcome – come as you are.

Thursday 17th April 12:15pm: Maundy Thursday Service including Lord’s Supper. Duncansburgh Church. 

Friday 18th April 3pm: Good Friday Service at Kilmonivaig Church

Friday 18th April 7pm:  Good Friday Service at Duncansburgh Church

Sunday 20th April 8am: Early Morning Service at the Old Fort, Fort William (near Morrisons), followed by Breakfast and bacon rolls in Duncansburgh Church MacIntosh Hall.

Sunday 20th April: Easter Sunday services at the usual service times – see below.

Sunday 20th April 7pm: Choir Easter Sunday Concert – Duncansburgh Church MacIntosh Hall, including readings, praise and refreshments. All welcome.    

Sundays – SERVICE TIMES

You are very welcome just as you are at any of our worship services. There is no dress code and the minister and welcome team will be happy to explain anything. Hide at the back or join in the chat – it’s up to you!

There are services across the linked parishes:

12pm – Kilmonivaig Church (join us for refreshments before the service)

10am – Caol Community Centre
10am – Duncansburgh Church, The Parade, Fort William (join us for refreshments after the service)
11:30am – Kilmallie Church, Corpach (join us for refreshments before the service)

Sunday April 13th: Family Messy Church Easter Special at Duncansburgh Church MacIntosh Hall (from 2:30pm – 4:30pm – come along when you can). Children must be accompanied by an adult. Free. 

Mondays

  • Men’s Breakfast at Lochaber Cafe (at Fort William Railway Station) 9:30am (first Monday)
  • Craft Group at Corpach Church 2-4pm (except last Monday)
  • Local History Group at Corpach Church 2-4pm (last Monday)
  • Singing in Praise Choir at MacIntosh Hall 7pm 

Tuesdays

  • Craft Group at Duncansburgh MacIntosh Hall Upper Room 6-8pm
  • Kilmallie Book Group at Caol Library 5-6pm (first Tuesday)
  • Duncansburgh Guild at MacIntosh Hall – Easter Crafts –  2pm (second Tuesday) 
  • Bible Study at Caol Free Church 2-4pm (first and third Tuesdays)

Wednesdays

  • Bible Study at Duncansburgh MacIntosh Hall Upper Rm 10:30-11:30am. Also available on Zoom  – contact us for details.
  • Birdwatching Group (meeting at Glen Nevis visitor centre car park) 1:30pm (first Wednesday)
  • Kilmallie Guild at Caol Community Centre 2pm (fourth Wednesday)
  • Prayer Group on Zoom and telephone (see article) – 8pm

Thursdays

  • Informal Lunchtime Worship at Duncansburgh Church 12:15pm 
  • Worship service at Invernevis House 2pm (last Thursday)

Fridays

  • Boys’ Brigade at Duncansburgh Old Hall 6:30pm-8pm. 

Saturdays

  • Soup Saturday at the MacIntosh Hall 11-2pm (first Saturday).
